An exciting and educational construction game for all ages.

Number of players

This game can be played by two or more persons, depending on the number of BEETLES available.

The object of the game

Each player must construct his own BEETLE. The one who achieves this first wins.

The method of play

The four BEETLES are set on a board which is divided into six parts. Each part is numbered from 1 to 6. These numbers correspond with the numbers on the dice which is to be used by each player. The numbers also correspond with the parts of each BEETLE, e.g.

• No 1 on the dice corresponds with the BODY
• No 2 on the dice corresponds with the HEAD
• No 3 on the dice corresponds with the ANTENNAE
• No 4 on the dice corresponds with the EYE
• No 5 on the dice corresponds with the MOUTH
• No 6 on the dice corresponds with the LEG

Take all the parts of the BEETLE and put each in its place on the board.

Before play begins, see that each part is in its place, then each player throws the dice once, and the one who throws highest begins. Each player tries to get the body of the BEETLE first, by throwing a 1 on the dice. If he succeeds he may throw again, in order to try to get the head. The body and head must be won in that order, before any other part of the BEETLE can be added. The legs, eyes, antennae and mouth need not be won in any special order but can be gained after the body and head.

The player loses the dice whenever he fails to throw a number required for a missing part.

The complete BEETLE consists of one body, one head, two eyes, two antennae, one mouth and six legs.

Whenever a player adds a necessary part to his BEETLE, he may throw the dice again to try for another part.

DELIVERY

We usually despatch within 48 hours, although on occasion we may be waiting for stock. We will do our best to accommodate a deadline. Why not call us to check stock availability?

We ship our goods throughout Australia and charge a flat rate shipping cost of $15.00 per order. Free shipping applies to all orders over $150.00. Flat rate shipping applies to all products under 3kg, additional charges may be applicable for bulky items and we will contact you accordingly.

The Corner Booth offers international shipping at a flat rate of $55. Bulky items may incur additional shipping charges and we will provide a quote based on weight and location of delivery. All duties and taxes will be the responsibility of the customer.

Our products at times may be available for Pre-Order and these will be marked with approximate delivery time. If your order includes pre-order items, we will ship your order once complete. Requests for partially shipped orders may incur additional shipping charges.

We endeavour to have all products on our website available for immediate delivery ( unless marked pre-order) on occasions some items may be out of stock. You will be contacted immediately in this instance and we will either order the item in for you or suggest an alternative. 

To minimise our impact on the environment where possible we package orders in recycled boxes and packaging. Our boxes may not be pretty but it is one small step in minimising waste.

Our parcels are sent with couriers and tracking details will be provided. Deliveries are marked Authority To Leave which means the courier will leave  your package in a safe place. Please contact us if a 'safe place' is not available and we will amend this.

We are not responsible for shipping delays, incorrectly addressed parcels or lost goods. We will endeavour to assist you, should we need to contact our shipping partners.
