Living Parisienne, a new market place
Last week I had the opportunity to meet with Dominique the founder behind of a new blog and upcoming marketplace 'Living Parisienne'.
So delighted to meet someone with a vision for a more 'simple and honest' way of living, a life stripped back to community, far away from the hustle and bustle of mass market consumerism.
Here is a snippet of Dominique's story...
"After nine magnificent years of living in Paris, I moved back home to Sydney with my young son in late 2016. I uncovered a passion for Parisian interior design whilst living there and back in Australia, I missed the daily inspiration and creativity Paris gave me. I dreamt of a way to connect my two worlds and that’s when Living Parisienne was born.
Living Parisienne is a place for anyone passionate about interior design and all things French. I source Parisian inspired homewares as well as discover artisans who make unique items for the home and showcase their wares. I stay up to date with Parisian local trends and find this here in Australia and New Zealand.
At Living Parisienne, consumers will have access to beautiful homewares and lifestyle products all in one place, adding a touch of Paris to their homes."
I was so taken with the Living Parisienne vision- a vision where people are concerned about the products they purchase and the impact on the artisans producing these goods. So important for the future of retail, the growing demand of fair trade and ethical and sustainable fashion.
Looking forward to watching and supporting this new and emerging market place, Living Parisienne.
